Nina Laden is the author and illustrator of many books for children, including the longtime Chronicle bestseller Peek-a Who? She grew up in the New York City area, but she now lives in an old farmhouse in Seattle, Washington. Adam McCauley has illustrated many books for children, including Chronicle's Mom and Dad Are Palindromes/i, and Ann and Nan Are Anagrams. He lives in San Francisco, California.
